Got the bike a few months ago and just passed the 250 km mark
Gotta say I am impressed, and think I got a good deal for what the bike offers.
Going up steep hills I can hit about 30kmph and on flat terrain between 50 and 55 kmph
I have pretty big pannier bags, and I myself am also pretty big, all gear and myself included is probably around 250 to 260 pounds and it's performing better than I expected.
The battery was a bit finicky at first but once i had understood the type of battery and how best to treat it I've been getting much longer, much faster rides out of the bike.
With fully using the throttle, and in my area where there is a lot of hills, I seem to get about 40 km of good speed, and than slowly after that the top speed begins to drop as the charge drops, but I suspect I could still get dozens of more kilometers distance out of it
All the hardware seems sturdy and performs very well, and it actually charges surprisingly fast.
It has stood up against some SERIOUS water, I can confidently say it's quite water resistant tho I wouldn't want to submerge it beyond the tires.
Wish there was some way to have the throttle speed not be determined by the PAS level, also I wish the gear system had more gears, as pedaling past 28kmph doesn't provide resistance or effect speed, the pedals don't keep up with the bike even on the highest gears.
Also rode the bike in -10 celsius with noticeable, but not severe battery performance change. Anything colder than like 2 celsius and the bike begins to lose charge faster
The only major issue that could have been avoided so far, was the crank arm for the pedal is very soft aluminum. The threads have already been stripped out and I am now looking at just upgrading to a CF or possibly even steel arm
however, with what I paid for what I got, I can't expect extremely high quality parts, I looked for the cheapest bike for this amount of power and this is what I found so it's totally expected
Even with that one (possibly factory error?) problem, I'm still thrilled. and HIGHLY recommend this ebike.
When putting it together just don't do what I did, make sure you closely inspect the steel threads on the pedal that match up with the aluminum threads on the crank arm. It's vital the threads are not deformed in any way, and that while installing you don't over tighten the pedal as it will easily grind/cut the aluminum threads out.
Best bike I've ever owned no competition, if I can get 4 years out of the battery I will be more than happy.
